NAPOLCOM Memorandum Circular No. 2013-006

 

Qualifications, requirements and conditions as protective security:

  1. Must wear the following prescribed uniforms:

- General Office Attire (GOA) Type “B” – while securing the VIP during official functions

- Athletic/Multi-Use Uniform (worn with PNP-issued pants) – while securing the VIP during disaster, relief and rescue operations

  1. The VIP may require their protective security police personnel to wear barong, bush jacket, suit or any suitable clothes (which the VIP shall provide) during the following activities:

-When accompanying the VIP to an official function in a critical area

- When securing the VIP during a private or social function or activity

All PNP uniformed personnel who are assigned as such, for purposes of identification, shall carry with them on a regular basis, their respective identification cards (IDs), Letter Orders, Acknowledgement Receipt of Equipment (ARE) and/or Permit to Carry Firearms Outside of Residence (PTCFOR) as the case may be.
