A total of one hundred four (104) new police recruits of Police Regional Office 11 took their oath administered by PRO 11 Regional Director PCSUPT JAIME H MORENTE on December 3, 2012 at the Regional Headquarters, Catitipan, Davao City.
PRO 11 completed its quota of 104 Police Officers 1 for the 2nd Semester Attrition Recruitment Program for Calendar Year 2012, wherein 88 males and 16 females passed the standard qualifications. These 104 new PNP recruits had undergone the meticulous screening process and complied all the requirements set forth by the Regional Screening Committee chaired by PRO 11 Deputy Regional Director for Administration PCSUPT ANSELMO SIMEON P PINILI. They passed all the rigorous qualification process like the agility test, neuropsychiatric test, medical and dental test and the Final Interview.
PRO 11 Regional Director PCSUPT JAIME H MORENTE, CEO VI urged the new recruits to value integrity and service. He added the recruits should have a positive attitude towards the duration of their training and that they must be true to their oath to serve and protect the people and not to abuse the privilege of being a person in authority. The recruits should also bear in mind that PNP service is a responsibility and we are accountable to the people we serve.
After the said ceremony, the new PNP recruits will undergo one (1) year Public Safety Field Training Program (PSFTP) to train and to prepare them for the basic work and function of the police. After that one year PSFTP, they will mandatorily undergo the PNP SCOUT and other trainings intended for their greater responsibilities as law enforcers and as public servants.
