As of December 11, 2012, a total of five hundred sixty three (563) PNP personnel have been deployed to areas heavily affected by Typhoon Pablo when it hit the provinces of Davao Oriental and Compostela Valley.
Deployed units have been conducting Search and Rescue operations in affected barangays to assist local residents and recover dead bodies left by Typhoon Pablo.
Contingents came from the RPSB 11, Provincial Public Safety Companies (PPSC) of Davao del Norte Police Provincial Office (PPO), Comval PPO, and Davao Oriental PPO. Also joining them are personnel from the adjacent Police Regional Offices 10 and 13 RPSBs.
Davao City PSC members were ordered to monitor critical areas in Davao City particularly in flood-prone Brgys. Lasang and Panacan.
National Support Units including Regional Health Service 11, Regional Special Training Unit 11, and the Regional Crime Laboratory Office 11 with support from their provincial offices in Comval Province and Davao Oriental also took part in this massive undertaking.
RHS 11 personnel assisted in giving medical attention to survivors, while RSTU 11 personnel together with RHQ11 personnel helped in the packaging of relief goods at the Inter-Agency Relief Operations Center, DPWH, Panacan, in Davao City. On the other hand, Crime Laboratory personnel have processed sixty seven cadavers in Compostela Valley and four in Davao Oriental for identification purposes.
