The said mass surrender could be attributed as an impact of PRO 11’s RPSB and AFP’s Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP) which served as an eye-opener for the people living in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAS) as they felt the government services delivered in their respective places through police and military immersions and the R-PSB’s Quick Impact Projects.
With the foregoing, PBGEN ESCOBAL warmly welcomed the surenderees and appreciated their effort to return to the Government side which would mean a deduction to the strength of the Communist Terrorist Groups.
Further, PBGEN ESCOBAL continues to be an advocate in encouraging NPA members to surrender and PRO 11 never cease to provide assistance and facilitation for their peaceful and safe surrender.
