Camp Sgt Quintin M Merecido, Davao City- As PRO 11 intensifies its strong determination to combat proliferation of illegal drugs in the region, it yielded two (2) Directorate for Intelligence Drug- Listed Personalities in separate buy bust operations conducted yesterday.

PBGen Marcelo C Morales, Regional Director, revealed that at about 4:00 PM of August 18, 2019, SDET personnel of PS5- Buhangin PS conducted an Anti-Illegal Drug Operation (buy-bust) at Purok 3, San Vicente, Jade Valley, Brgy. Tigatto, Buhangin, Davao City which resulted in the apprehension of JOHN LOUIE DIOS SIOKO @ BYRLE, 27 years old, male, driver and a resident of abovementioned address.

Confiscated from the possession and control of the suspect were: Five (5) zip-lock containing suspected dried marijuana leaves, seeds with twigs and One (1) piece Php500 bill (buy-bust money). Estimated seized illegal drugs have an estimated market value of Php 2,500.

On the other hand, Talomo Police Station operatives also arrested MILO LEORO LEMENTE MOSCARE @ “MILO”, 33 years old, male, single, installer and a resident of Kalye Putol, Mabini, Brgy. 33-D, Davao City after a successful drug bust transpired at Juan dela Cruz Street corner San Roque Street, Brgy. Daliao, Toril, Davao City yesterday at 3:15 PM.

Shabu, buy bust money and other non-dtug items were among the items recovered from the possession of the suspect.

While all police units are working hard to sustain its commitment and mandate to continue to enforce the law, PBGen Morales emphasized that the illegal drugs is not the problem only of the PNP or the PDEA but of the whole community.

“We need everybody’s support. We all need concerted efforts, both from the private and government agencies. Rest assured that by exhibiting shared responsibilities together, sooner, our problems of illegal drugs will end.”
