Camp Sgt Quintin Merecido, Davao City- A 48-year old construction worker was arrested yesterday evening after a reliable and confidential informant (RCI) fed information to the authorities of his alleged peddling of “shabu” in Carmen, Davao del Norte.

PBGEN MARCELO C MORALES, Regional Director, identified the suspect as Alan Cadayona Lampara, 48 years old, born on, separated, construction worker and a resident of Purok 1-B, Brgy. Sto. Niño, Carmen, Davao del Norte.

Record states that after monitoring and thorough intel gathering with regards to the illegal activities of the suspect, a buy bust operation was conducted by the drug enforcement team of Carmen MPS on August 9, 2019 at 10 PM which resulted to the arrest of the suspect at Purok1-B, Barangay Sto. Niño, Carmen, Davao del Norte.

Confiscated from the suspect were the following pieces of evidence to wit: a Two (2) sachets of suspected shabu and One (1) piece genuine PhP500 bill as marked money.

According to RD Morales, “Suspect was monitored by Carmen MPS-DET as a newly identified drug personality and a street-level target.”

Therefore, the arrest of the suspect will lead to the reduction of supply of illegal drugs in the said barangay in Carmen, DDN.

Moreover, the arrested suspect and recovered pieces of evidence are now under the custodial facility of the operating unit for proper disposition and for filing of case for violation of RA 9165 against the suspect.
